General information
Availability
You can find the latest availability of our guided walking holidays here.
Booking with 4 or more
If our dates don't suit or the week is already full and you want to book with 4 or more people, please contact us at
.
Accommodation You will stay in carefully selected B&B's, guest houses or hotels. In most places double and twin rooms will have an en suite or private bathroom. In some places, if you are staying in a single room, you will share the bathroom with 1 or 2 other rooms.
Single rooms A limited number of single rooms is available on all our holidays. The single room supplement is £50 per week for B&B and £100 per week for hotel accommodation. There will be no supplement if you are willing to share a twin room - with 2 single beds - with another member of the group of the same gender. This will always be a room with an en suite bathroom. Please note that only few B&B's have a single room. This means that if you book closer to the start of the holiday, we might not be able to get a single room and need to charge extra for single occupancy of the double or twin room. We will always let you know in advance if this is the case.
What you need
You will need boots with a good tread which provide adequate ankle support, warm clothing, waterproofs (top and overtrousers) and a day rucksack big enough for one set of spare clothes, a packed lunch and whatever else you normally like to have with you during the day (binoculars, camera etc.).
Information before departure
You will receive information about meeting time/place, your accommodation, other members of the group and details about the week, 3-4 weeks before the start of your holiday.
Insurance
We carry Public Liability insurance. In addition, we very strongly recommend that you take out your own travel insurance to cover personal accident, cancellation etc.
Protecting your payments
About Argyll provides protection for all your payments, in conformity with EC regulations, through a Trust Fund in which your payments are held until your holiday is completed. You will find more details about it in our booking conditions.
Smoking
By law smoking is not allowed in public places since March 2006. This means that all B&Bs, hotels, retaurants and bars in Scotland are non-smoking. We also don't allow smoking in our minibuses.
